Oak Ridge, Tenn. (May 20, 2010) The 8th Annual Secret City Festival’s Antiques and Collectibles tent will be full to overflowing with both new and returning antique dealers who are anxious to display and sell their merchandise. The antique show coordinator, Mike Bradshaw, has indicated another full show tent featuring both local and out-of-town vendors.
Festivalgoers who venture into the 60-foot by 90-foot circus-style tent will find everything from country primitives to glassware and furniture. People who are looking for kitchen items dating back to the 1930’s need look no further. In addition to furniture representative of the 1800’s, Bradshaw says that this year’s festival will host an assortment of unusual, one-of-a-kind items and collectibles.
“If you can’t find it here, you probably don’t need it,” Bradshaw explained. “These are real and unusual antiques and collectibles, not something you’d find at a flea market.”
The Secret City Festival has become a great place to showcase antiques and collectibles over the years. According to Bradshaw, the antiques and collectibles show has grown out of its infancy stage into a quality antiques show.
In addition to excellent concert headliners in the form of Chubby Checker and Daryl Stuermer-Genesis Rewired, the festival will again feature its Juried Arts Show, the south’s largest multi-battle WWII Re-enactment, a children’s festival area, new youth area, great entertainment, food, and fun for the whole family.
