For a second year, the Secret City Festival has joined in and is offering an additional $1 off coupon for Recycle Bank members to their headliner concerts. What a great deal! That means, in addition to the early bird discount, tickets can be purchased for as little as $11 dollars.
Here’s how it works. Go online to www.RecycleBank.com and log on or sign up if you’re not already a member. When the home page comes up, choose “Entertainment.” The third page will have the Secret City Festival $1 off coupon. Click on the logo, then0 add it to your shopping cart. Check out, and then wait for the mailman to deliver your coupon. It usually takes about a week to get your coupon, so don’t wait till the last minute to redeem them online, or you’ll miss your chance to take advantage of this additional savings.
How do you redeem your coupon? While most tickets can be purchased online at SecretCityFestival.com or by calling the ticket line at 482-4432. Recycle Bank coupons can only be redeemed at the Oak Ridge Civic Center because they have to be physically turned in.
TCoupons can be used up to and on the days of the festival, but remember, the early bird discount ends on June 12. On June 13, tickets go back up to the regular price of $15.
If you’re not excited yet, maybe it’s because you don’t know who’s coming to the festival and who you’re buying tickets for. On Friday night, the festival will feature a Tribute Night, sponsored by Pro2Serve and CROET, with opening performances by Tres Hombres, a ZZ Top tribute Band, and Break On Through – A Tribute to the Doors. The headliner for Friday will be Daryl Stuermer – Genesis Rewired. Stuermer is the lead guitarist for Genesis and has co-written many of their songs. On Saturday night, sponsored by WSI Oak Ridge and NetGain, music legend Chubby Checker, will take the stage, with opening act The Atomic Horns.
