Oak Ridge, Tenn. (May 19, 2008) The 6th Annual Secret City Festival’s Antiques and Collectibles tent will be full to overflowing with returning antique dealers who are anxious to display and sell their merchandise. The antique show coordinator, Mike Bradshaw, has more than enough dealers to fill the show tent and is looking for more space to accommodate those interested dealers on the waiting list.
Festivalgoers who venture into the 60-foot by 90-foot circus-style tent will find everything from country primitives to glassware. People who are looking for kitchen items dating back to the 1930’s need look no further. In addition to furniture representative of the 1800’s, Bradshaw says that this year’s festival will host an assortment of unusual, one-of-a-kind items and collectibles.
“If you can’t find it here, you probably don’t need it,” Bradshaw explained. “These are real antiques, not something you’d find at a flea market.”
The Secret City Festival has become a great place to showcase antiques and collectibles over the years. According to Bradshaw, the antiques and collectibles show has grown out of its infancy stage into a quality antiques show.
In addition to excellent concert headliners in the form of The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie and Mary Wilson of the Supremes, the festival will again feature its Juried Arts Show, the south’s largest multi-battle WWII Re-enactment, a Children’s Festival, great entertainment, food, and fun for the whole family.
